Alton Mill Wedding

When a couple agrees to jump into a lake during their engagement session, I know I have found the perfect match! These two adventurers showed me their love for the outdoors by inviting me to the groom’s family cottage, where we hiked around the area and captured the two of them in their element. Forests, lakes, canoes….yes please! This was the perfect peek into what was in store for their wedding day….

On a crisp fall day in October, Danielle and Craig tied the knot surrounded by bright, bold colours and softly falling leaves. The venue itself created a rustic, inspirational setting that complimented the rustic bohemian theme of of the day. I’d like to take a moment to point out that if you haven’t yet been to Alton Mill Arts Centre, it is well worth the trip. Exposed brick walls contain the many small artist studios in the building. Sometimes you can even catch glimpses of the artists at work! But I digress, let me take you back to the wedding day…

Danielle wore a classic lace dress by Kenneth Winston and carried flowers by Cedar and Stone. Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails before the serene outdoor ceremony. There were many laughs, and a few tears, but the day overall was pure joy and elation for everyone in attendance. Craig and Danielle are a match made in wilderness heaven and I am so so grateful that I got to be a part of it…
