Jess and I met in teacher’s college. Her smile and laugh were so infectious, I knew she was someone special. Fast forward years later, and I remember her telling me she had met the “nicest guy”. This “nice guy” was named Heince, and yes I had to agree that he was, in fact, incredibly nice. When we managed to see each other and catch up (we lived 1.5 hours apart) I would notice her face light up as she talked about this man in her life. Finally, the day had come. She said YES!
Here are some wise words from the happy couple to future couples planning their big day…
What were some of the highlights of your wedding day?
For us, the highlights of our wedding day included our very short and sweet ceremony which we just loved. Second, we were so happy to be surrounded by our favourite people in the entire world. Last, we were so appreciative to our wonderful photographer for capturing the special moments of the day without being in our faces at all. We barely noticed her taking photos!
What advice would you give other couples planning their big day?
For couple’s who are currently planning their wedding day, we would recommend hiring a wonderful wedding planner to help you with the small details and for organizing on the day of. Also, MAKE SURE TO EAT!
