Vancouver Urban / Mountain Wedding
I’m the first one to admit that Vancouver and I have a little bit of a love affair. The scenery, the atmosphere, the general hipness of it all – the west is a cool place that definitely vibes with what I’m putting down. And did I mention the people? Honestly, every time I go out, I get to connect with someone new and wonderful…like Jess and Alex. We met over the magical interweb and eventually met in person when I flew out to Vancouver and photographed their engagement session!
Their wedding day was an intimate affair with their closest family and friends. The setting spanned from a bohemian ceremony at Union Wood Co., to the cool urban downtown vibe of the Soundhouse Music Studio, and finally a gorgeous mountaintop for their post wedding portrait session!
Jess, being an event planner herself, knew what was ahead of them when planning their special day, so they decided to keep things simple and really focus on what matters most to them. A couple days later, the wonderful crew at SKY Helicopters took the 3 of us on the most scenic flight, over mountains and into a valley for a post-wedding adventure session! (Yes, that’s a real thing!)
